Check-in and check-out times?
Check in: 4pm and Checkout: 11am
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refund if canceled 30 days or more before check-in date. Cancellations made less than 30 days before scheduled check in date are non refundable.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made directly through our website on the "Book Your Stay" page or through Airbnb, however there are extra Airbnb fees you can avoid by booking direct.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we are pet friendly and do NOT charge a dog fee as long as you clean up after your pup and there is no damage. Two dog maximum unless okay'd ahead of time.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
There is a three night minimum on all bookings.

Do you rent in winter months?
Yes, we do rent in winter months, and 4WD may be necessary depending on snow amounts. We plow every snowfall but if there is large amounts of snow it could take a max of 24 hours for the county to plow the road in.
The Cabins
​Where are the cabins located?
All three cabins are located down Cramer Road in Finland, MN. The final stretch of road is a year-round maintained dirt road that is regularly smoothed out. However, after periods of rain or in the spring, it may become a bit bumpy. To maintain the privacy of our secluded location, we do not publicly disclose the exact address. If you would like more details before booking, please send us a message, and we will gladly provide you with the information you need.

How far apart are Stargaze and Moonrise Cabin?
They are approximately 400 feet apart and the cabins are not visible from one another to ensure each cabin retains its secluded atmosphere, allowing guests to fully enjoy their peaceful getaway.

Are there kayaks, canoes, or other watercraft available for guests to use?
We provide one canoe per cabin for guests to use on the property during their stay. There is no boat launch so no boats on the lake at this time.

Can I bring a trailer or camper?
Most cabins can fit a small trailer but please reach out if you do plan to bring one so we can confirm it will fit. ​

Is the water drinkable?
Yes, our well is tested every year to ensure safe drinking water.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, all cabins have Starlink internet.
Is there air conditioning/heating in the rental?
Stargaze and Moonrise cabins both have AC, forced air heating and in-floor heating. Grey Duck has in-floor heating and a fireplace, however it does not have AC.
Is there a washer and dryer available for use?
Stargaze and Moonrise allow access to washer and dryer during stay. Grey Duck does not offer access.
Is there a barbecue grill or outdoor cooking area?
Stargaze and Moonrise have a gas grill on site while Grey Duck has a charcoal grill.
Do you provide firewood for campfires?
We do not provide firewood, however there are plenty of places to pick up firewood on the side of the road in town for $5 bundles or at the local Finland Co-Op.
Is there cell phone reception at the property?
There is no cell service/very limited cell service. With Starlink WiFi you can make and receive calls, along with texts and emails. The internet is also good for work from home capabilities and streaming.
